  Pinguim: Some very interesting techniques

I hope this builder will pop in here and discuss some of his or her work. (URL) don't think I've ever seen anyone try a BL2 before! That engine has a lot of curves and slants and is a very hard engine to model in LEGO. Although I'm not an 8 wide (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Right, 3 layers but only 2 radii since you use the 2x1x5x4 in both the smaller layers. That's what I thought but I wasn't quite sure from that vantage point. Another key point is that you offset the layers by only one. Many other people do a (...) (20 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Lego Models of Fenway Park, Wally the Green Monster to be Auctioned at MLB.com

(...) anyone have links to the actual model section of the site? I went to mlb.com and since it started playing some sort of sound file I bailed rather quickly without digging much. Thanks! (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.mediawatch)

I have a *software* problem with LDD, in that it has unreasonable system requirements, in my view. (...) I would (...)   Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

(...) You'll need more than a program, you'll need to make sensors of some sort, as sensors that detect magnets are not on offer from LEGO. Chris Phillips made some (reedswitch based, I think) sensors, and documented what he did. it requires some (...) (20 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) Great question, and one that I might have some insight on, since I am on a number of different club mailing lists. The answer is "it depends".
