Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

(...) I rated it a 5 before I read this post, here is why. I think the poster is good, and had I not seen some of your other work I would have problably given it an 8. I was just prejudiced by some of your awesome previous works. I love the concept (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: UTB set, LDD and LEGOFactory

(...) Um, I dunno. It's probably *A* goal, but it's also about reducing the cost of the set. Why print instructions if you can avoid it? Part of it is also the intended audience. Kids might not be all that likely to jump on the internet and get the (...) (17 years ago, 8-May-07, to lugnet.general)

  2005 Club Notes

12/19/05 Made progress on our new modules this week! All 5 are built (3 30x30" and 2 15x30"). All that is needed now is to landscape the surfaces. That will come when the dark gray plates from BL come;-) Also, looks like we have enough greeblie to (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains.org.tcltc, FTX)

<snip> (...) the problem with this line of thinking is that it assumes future travel will be based acceleration and deceleration in normal space. simply traveling at light speed has a whole bunch of problems associated with it, which is why most (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: The Eastern Invasion Is Here !!

Wow, what a piece of work! I'm not building on quite the scale you are, or the authenticity, so I quite respect what you've been able to accomplish here. I have a couple notes, both from my own experience buiding a small multistory keep more or less (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: Peasant House...Misc

Thanks for the insight, Greg There are definitely different levels of "housing" throughout medieval villages. As far as my creations go, I'm sticking with the tradesman and merchants buildings thus far, since they are the ones who make the village (...)   Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

(...) On the basis that China and the U.S.S.R. used a lot of the same equipment, that makes a certain amount of sense, but I'd prefer to see a lot more oriental influence on the design (otherwise it's just swapping red for green). Speaking of which, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

10176 (Royal King's Castle) - 13 Alternate MOCs at Once

I picked up a copy of 10176 on sale at SAH. It's a nice set, but I really bought it for the parts. Anyway, I wasn't all that interested to build the castle, so I set out to use the parts therein to make my own MOC, I came up with this: The Smithbot (...)
