Re: A discovery? and part 3475

(...) [snipped description and part-file] Yep, this is how I usually build curved stuff - use primitives to get the correct points, inline them and move the points around as necessary. In this particular case (a full circular ring), a way to avoid (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I also agree about how it looks...which is basically why I don't use an associate link on the NQC site (1). Dave (1) Acutally, I even debated about putting anything at all on the NQC site about my book. (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Southport Lego Show 20th May 2000

(...) Happy to! (URL) Let me know what you think, I've added some basic formatting to it, and the only bit that I edited was the "web-page to be announced" bit. If you look at (URL) you'll see the raw FTX for the page - it should be fairly simple to (...) (25 years ago, 27-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  S'more "newbie welcome" thoughts

We started talking about this before but here are a few more thoughts regarding how to make newbies more comfy with lugnet, and making a first-time visit be a nice and not a frightening experience. I understand that Jeremy Sproat or Todd or both (?) (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

But he did use the example of Iraqi "Scuds" as not a "created or fictitious need" for this defense system. I agree it may have been a (...) (23 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Article rating?

(...) Agreed. (...) Disagree, I do not see this behaviour in NS 4.7. The rated page is the same page as the unrated so you only need to go back once. (...) YES. I trust that it took my rating into account, I don't need proof, I'll hit refresh if I (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: 8480 Technic Shuttles

Is it time to re-hash the 'is this a sale or an auction' debate? Although its been done to [near] death, I don't think a concensus was reached on the topic. From (URL) Todd says: "- Sealed-bid auctions are "technically" (by name) auctions but in (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Article rating?

(...) Actually, if you are rating individual articles, it seems a bit of a pain to use it. The reason is the time lag is unacceptable. Clicking on the submit rating or change rating button causes the entire page to be refreshed. This alone takes (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

How to change the baud rate of Interactive C

Interactive C communicates with the 68HC11 at 9600 baud, but if you'd like to change that -- say, to maintain interactivity over a slow RF link -- it is easy to hack the software, at least in Mac version 3.1. I'm indebted to Randy Sargent who sent (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
