Hi, I have aquired a significant part of my LEGO collection from the children of friends and neighbors. The up-side of this is that I can get about $500-$1000 worth of LEGO for only about $50-$100. Jamie, If you're referring to the 4x4 turntable brick that sits on a 4x4 plate, there is one in light gray in some set. I have one. I recently discovered two sets in my grandmother's attic. Basic construction sets 125 and 145, obviously from the early 70's. They are 222 pcs and 413 pcs respectively. The only thing I have found is a 1973 UK catalog that shows some similar sets, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

After assembling my first <set:8480 Technic Shuttle>, I popped the batteries in and proceeded to experiment with all of the different switches and motors. Lego Gods don't strike me down but... there's a few motorized and non-motorized sets up for auction. they tend to go cheaper than Legos since their not as versatile. but have their uses. i bid on too many and am afraid i'll get stuck with them (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
