Set 165 Freight Loading Station question.

Hi All, I recently won a 165 in auction but when I started building it I noticed that the instructions called for a grey baseplate with dots on the studs which indicated where the first layer of bricks should be placed. The baseplate in the set I (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Anyone remember this set?

I seem to remember a classic space set that only consisted of 5 mf scale robots made from common pieces. Ring any bells? I scrolled through the set listings, but the closest I could find had just a couple robots paired with some spacemen. Any help (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Data Base Updates

Might've originated originally from a catalog, but the box is more official.) (...) But Outback wasn't (...) (25 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.database)

Destroyer Droid - Help w/ unrolling

I just found a Destroyer Droid at Target (Lynnwood, WA, USA) for anyone interested. They had a few Slave I's and Pit Droids too. It's strange, I'd think Boba Fett would sell the fastest, but the ones I haven't found are the A & B Wing and Desert (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Children and Violence

Hey Y'all: I was just sitting here contemplating my navel when I began to think about violence and its causes.   What's a fair price for 4532/4537/4539s?

I noticed someone lately offered to trade some 4537s he had for some 4536 blue hoppers, and someone took him up on the offer. I personally consider the 4536 to be "worth more" than 4537s, but that's because I have so many of them. My recent DYA buy (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece
