I was looking at a small Adventurers Egyptian set#5938 marked down to $5 at local Wal-Marts and I was wondering if the older segmented palm trees are officially discontinued and if therefore all of the new sets come with the new "OnePiecePalmTree." Which led me to ask, 1) will these old palm tress be selling for $10 each in a few years and 2) how many people like the new tree better than the old? It has an old palm tree (currently would get you at least $1 on auction, 4 blue 2x2x3 steep slopes (to go with the (...) (...) My two 5938's came directly from Legoland ($3 each there) and they have the classic segmented palm tree. Somehow, I have yet to get the one piece trunk. Of course, the new tree sucks - it defeats the purpose of having Lego rather than any (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)
