Well Frank, you have to have one of the biggest Lego budgets on the planet. I
mean there are entire third-world countries that spend less on their survival
than you do on your collection. I can't compete with the prices you pay. I
am not complaining, just merely envisioning a future in which ffilz owns every
single lego element. You must make really great money, be single, be the best
money manager of all time, live with the folks, have a girlfriend that is a
majority stockholder of TLC, or a combination of the above. I work for
government wages, have wife and kids, am a total spendthrift, and my wife is a
homemaker. Therefore my lego collection is anemic by your standards. While
you buy palm trees by the 1000 and $90 Technic sets for one element I am
looking under piles of dust in rural department stores hoping to find
something on a good enough sale to slip it by my wife's money radar. When I
do go to ebay it is for a bargain, you are there for quantity. There is
nothing wrong with that and it is part of being in the U.S., but I wish they
had a poorman ebay and a Frank Filz ebay. Enjoy the 120,000 palm trees you
have in boxes, meanwhile I'll keep searching the bargain bins to supply two or
three to my kids.
Cheers,
Mark L
