  Ability of newer 9V motors

Since I'm new to Lego trains (bought my first Lego train set last week #4511 + an extra #10158 car), I'm wondering exactly how powerful the little motor that comes with the set is. It seems to have no problem moving the 3 cars that I currently own (...) (19 years ago, 25-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Ahhhh Friction, my old friend

Iain, I have now built the better part of the "balance of power" game board. I was very worried about how I was going to make the board level. turns out, after a few test screws, I found the center of the 2x4. A few "extra" twists of the nut, and (...) Wow! I thought I had a good deal when I got it for $140 with coupon! One minor grump with the set, though: the track in the box is new grey, the extra packs are old grey. thanks, James -----Original Message----- From: news-gateway@lugnet.com (...) (20 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

Re: My humble opinion about LDraw animation

(...) There are 2 ways you can approach this. Animation involves time. The LDraw format does not include anything in it to deal with time. The first approach would be to add something to deal with time to the LDraw format. This is a very bad idea (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)
