  Re: Ooops.

It's unlikely you killed the MCU, there are 1k resistors in series with the RxD and TxD lines. Go to the assembly manual, and run through the series of tests that verify proper operation of the Interface/Charger Board. (URL) your message you said: (...)   HB sonar new drivers

the new code is improved in the sense that 1. there is a clear schematic and wiring diagram; 2. it does not require the removal of a motor driver chip; 3. all driver code is written in Interactive C. fred (27 years ago, 27-Nov-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Smoking serial/charger board...!!!

Hi. This evidence pretty conclusively points to a power-ground short on your board. Here is why: * you are fairly certain it is not the RJ11 cable (the most common cause of blown R11's). * when applying charge pwr directly to the HB's charge jack, (...)   Vector2x SPI interrupt driven code

Well it works. A couple people have asked for it. Turns out the stupid V2X docs are wrong again! Like the product, but bad docs will kill it!
