Re: Question: Does the market realy want junorization? (or were they such good ol' days?)

(...) Absolutely. I was into Lego as a kid in the 1960s. One of my last sets before the commencement of my Dark Age was: (URL) I thought this was a pretty neat set at the time. I must have built that set again and again and again, because I liked it (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Misterious part...

(...) Dear Giulio, that's indeed a train part. These have been sold as spares which makes them not too rare and they have been part of the 8-wheeled engines during the late 70ies. These have been just 727, 162 and 182. You can attach them to the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: record train

(...) We have to buy some more 9V track. In 12V we have over 400 meters. And we have not 60 sets of 2126: whenever someone offered a trade I exchanged other waggons against the tank cars. Together we have just nearly 35 sets of 2126. That means at (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Markets and juniorization

(...) Better still, why won't LEGO design toys that will *force* kids to use their brains? I am getting sick and tired of having kids so "TV-dependant" that they cannot articulate words properly any longer. (...) Do WE? It is a sociological issue: (...)   record train

Just a short announcment: Two hours ago the FGLTC has made up a mini track layout with a train, which might be a record train: I'm quite sure nobody has done a train with more than 61 identical waggons so far, am I right? ‘ello there Ben! (...) Impressive, now you’ve got as many Guarded Inns as I do. And the Green Ninja set is also great… one of the ninjas is a female!!!   new lego order

I just had to buy another bulk purchase of Lego. It was my biggest purchase from shop@home, yet. Well firstly let's make sure we agree it's an imaginary "force-field" generated sail that isn't even really there to begin with...after that I can readily acknowledge that it is merely trans-white rendered in POV.
