Re: ULF Database Update: Pulsar Thermospheric Fighter

Curt...you must be an apprentice to Mike Okuda with the incredible back detail of your creations. It's clear you have a solid and consistant handle on the technologies you've created and employed. And the ships look great too! Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 3-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Decals?

(...) Gil, If you're talking about water-slide decal film, you can get it at a hobby shop. Micro Scale makes both clear and white film. You can print it on an inkjet printer and then you spray something over it (I've never done it). They also have (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: Download parts automatically with your preferred modeller?

Hi Willy - (...) Yes, getting started can be difficult for some new users. We've tried to put up clear instructions, but some still struggle with that.   Re: Color problem- is this a bug in L3P?

(...) I do this sometimes to show the part rendered from a different angle to make it clear what part is being attached... usually it's an assembly of more than one part but not always. (22 years ago, 29-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Yet another Escher - "Waterfall"

(...) It would certainly be tricky. The best I can think of would be to make the puddle surface with giant clear tiles, but I doubt they exist in the size you'd need. Another possibility would be to use an imaginary water surface created by (...) (21 years ago, 3-May-03, to lugnet.build)
