It would certainly be tricky.  The best I can think of would be to make
the puddle surface with giant clear tiles, but I doubt they exist in the
size you'd need.  Another possibility would be to use an imaginary water
surface created by suspending the leaves over an empty pit.  Of course, that
wouldn't really help much with the reflection, would it?  Puddle reduces the
problem by getting rid of the fish.  Then again, the tree reflection does
stop right next to the fish, so perhaps TW wouldn't be so hard after all...

That's a useful suggestion - thanks. I'll definitely experiment a bit with
it, though my RoboSlizOnicle stocks are pretty limited. I guess that's what
Bricklink is for, though...

It doesn't roll up really tight like the Curl-Up lizards, but you'd
probably want to design some sort of bulbous head for them.  Given the right
shape, it might fill in the gaps.  Legs could get a bit tricky, and the
simplest way of doing the tip of the tail would require that the head be
hard-mounted rather than attached with a ball-joint.

I'd recommend staying away from the two greys, though.  Dark-grey only
comes with Darth Vader (1@ $40 each) and Cahdok/Gahdok (4@ $17.50 each), and
light-grey only comes with Jango Fett (2@ $17.50 each).  You'd probably need
a couple hundred of them, and there might not be enough on Bricklink.  Black
would be the easiest (though not very accurate), but I'd suggest going with
red, brown, blue, green, or white, since those colors are going to become
very easy to obtain in a couple months (10 per Rahkshi @ $.90 each).
