Have you given any thought to doing the Puddle?  Or maybe Still Life &
Street?

(Does anyone have a good idea how to do the "roll-up" creatures from "House >of Stairs" in Lego????? - bearing in mind that the picture would need _lots_ >of them)

It could get expensive depending on what color you decide to use for
them (keep in mind that the Rahkshi will each come with ten hip-joints in
red, black, brown, blue, green, or white, so waiting a few months for them
to be released might be the best solution), but one of the most flexible
constructs that I've seen so far is my own Murasaki Tail:

So far each Escher picture we've done has required a completely different
set of techniques to all the others. For example, this is the first time
we've had to resort to blatant photographic trickery (I think the distortion
in "Balcony" doesn't really count as the same thing since it isn't used for
trick purposes). If we find that we start repeating methods it may get less
interesting.

Maybe to you, but I think the general feeling seems to be that seeing
"impossible" 3D constructs is cool regardless of how they're built.

Yes, it would be nice to do a design of our own. We're just a couple of
math/computer geeks and hence somewhat artistically challenged, but if we
get a good idea...

Isn't math the primary focus of the stuff you've worked on?  I'd think
geometric abstracts should be right up your alley.
