Re: Art Debate Was: [Re: Swearing?]

(...) As clearly stated above, I don't know. If someone were hell-bent on murder, I suppose they should be put down and parted out to pay for the whole affair - or their assets given to the kin of the victims. I suppose there should be some method (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Life on Mars sets in Detroit Area!

Hi All, I went on a metro-area-wide hunt today to find some 2001 sets, and while there's nothing impressive yet, it's looking good. The only sets I could find at any of the TRU's (and these were the only ones available at all of them, strangely) (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.loc.us.mi)

Excellent again. I love the fact that I'm never quite sure what to think of this, but the modelling is always brilliant.   My thoughts on the new Castle line

General Comments (mostly negative): 1. The Maiden appears to come only in the largest set (6091) - arghh! 2. Visored helmets are back!! 3. Why did they do the tower peaks in blue again - I'd kill for those in red!! 4. Stained glass decal - there is (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: What non-LEGO entities are lurking in your LEGO collection?

What, separated from (the bulk of) your LEGO bricks? How can you stand it? Actually, when I moved out of my parents house into a condo, I didn't have room for my LEGO collection, so I "convinced" myself I was too old for them anyhow. Now that I (...) (25 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
