Re: Why do you love bley?

(...) I like Dark Bley. It's a different-enough color for me to see it. I never really liked the old greys, they always looked yellowed and faded to me. Brown- now, I liked old brown. I have a lot of it, and I feel protective and nostalgic about it (...) (17 years ago, 9-May-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: TLG investigation 1st answers

(...) For a lot of people, this is true. A lot of people seem to complain about the lack of basic bricks, and also the use of decorated/specialized bricks that are only good for very special uses. However, some people also think that many old sets (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Lion Brand?

I found a small box of an old-looking squishy-block Lego-Clone in Goodwill. The bricks all have vertical serrations and the packaging looks as if it dates from the 60's or 70's! I'm guessing that it isn't actually that old, but I really don't know (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) I really feel that any parts in old brown that were supposed to represent wooden items *must* be kept in the old color. The new grays are passable for a fair number of constructs, but the new "brown" is really awful for things like doors, (...) (20 years ago, 9-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
