Re: 9V Train Motor Being Discontinued?

(...) . . . . (...) I wish to add my $0.02 worth also I think this story can be told by many Rafe, just change the names and ages and you have summed up my history with Lego Trains as well.   Trevor the steam traction engine

Now that the Thomas Weekend event at LEGOLAND CA is over, thought I'd start posting images of my engines and cars.   Re: 10027 is now sold in blay.... :-(

(...) Hi Dustin, no - we asked for the changes and got the answer for the sets I quoted. Therefore I expected the 10020 and 10027 to remain in old SYSTEM gray. And I was shocked to find out I had to dump 75 Eur into the trashcan (or at least half of (...) (19 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

Pick a Brick - Potomac Mills, VA

I will be in the Potomac Mills area this weekend and I might be able to stop by the LEGO store there. How is the Pick-a-Brick selection there? (...) Dear Matt, I have to agree with your first sentence 100%. I myself would not have dared to type such an explicit expression here in an American newsgroup, but this is exactely what I still feel about blay... On the other hand: I do actually (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.color)

Re: 4562 Revealed! (was Spring Cleaning...)

Peeron's inventory for this set is SO screwy, I can't trust it. It is listing 8x8 bricks, and teal 2x4s, that none of the 9 I've gotten have. It would be nice if the inventory ONLY listed the [standard] bricks from the set, as many people parting (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) I would agree with everyone that the long hood is too short for the train, but at least in person, it feels proptionally too long compared to the Cab/nose. But from what I've been told, building it as a 6-axle SD would be much harder. So I (...) (19 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)
