Re: Informations on new TECHNIC element and color coded parts

I put a message up on JLUG a few days ago regarding the frustrating direction TLG seem to be taking with Technic: (URL) Primariliy regarding Blue Axle pins and how the standard colour does not do any justice to any colour shceme but blue.   How can I fix this bugged fractal landscape MLCAD generated?

I generated a scene of a small amount of fractal landscape in MLCAD, however, there is a problem with some illegally generated bricks which have been placed to intersect other bricks, of course that's impossible to do with real LEGO. Is there a (...) (17 years ago, 20-Dec-07, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: new moc: water tower house

One word: A-maz-ing ! I've seen this way of curve construction before, even tried it myself (it comes as a logical conclusion to having an abundance of 1*2 bricks around for no particular use) but I couldn't imagine something so architecturally (...)   Re: New 8-wide models?

(...) Peter, It looks like the answer to your question just appeared in a picture posted on Brickset. The Summer 2008 lineup will include an 8-wide truck as part of the new Coast Guard line.   Re: Why do you love bley?

(...) And I think this argument is crap. I'd be incredibly surprised if the new bley colors in display pieces made any more than a tiny fraction of a percentage difference in parental purchasing (and probably none at all when a child decides).   Review: 7621 Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb

7621 Indiana Jones and the Lost Tomb, 277 pieces, $20 or $21 Almost ten years after the Adventurers Egypt series (1) paid homage to Indy, Lego has the real licensed deal and it's quite good. Just like with the Star Wars releases, we get classic (...) (17 years ago, 30-Dec-07, to lugnet.reviews, FTX)

  Amazin Lego FOTW (maybe Month!)

Hey all, Yesterday at lunch, my wife and I decided to drop by a Shop N Save thrift store after eating. To my delight there were two bags full of Lego! Both were about 5lbs. worth! The first was older bricks, looking like they date back to the (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: New Civil Engineer letter

(...) Yes - nicely said. One difference that *is* significant from an educational standpoint (IMHO) is the use of tools. Meccano really does require you to use a screwdriver and spanner (aka wrench)...where Lego doesn't really require tools at all (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics)
