Re: Piece sorting (was: building exhaustion)

Sproaticus wrote (...) This should probably go in the FAQ/Rool Call archive. Hmm, I've posted about it before, but here goes: Right now all my Lego is in four boxes. OK, four boxes and a few extra bags - I got the Lego touring truck after I packed (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-99, to lugnet.storage)

Rock Raiders --Wider is not better.

Hello again, Every once in a while I break out of lurk to post and Rock Raiders set 4970, Chrome Crusher, was the inspiration this time. As is usual in my reviews, I break out the good, the bad, and the ugly. So here goes. The Good: Lots of spunk (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.general)

I agree that it is not strictly a penny per piece arrangement, and I agree that LEGO probably owns the desings to the actual minifigs, the 2x2 slopes, the R2 head and body, and LFL probably owns the (...)   Re: what is the rarest piece

(...) What is the rarest piece..... wow, what a loaded question...... Here is what I would consider a random list of "regular" (not specialty unique pieces) LEGO that is rare, and the colors that are considered rare (in parenthesis): RARE WINDOWS (...)   Re: Illinois Central Loco

Hi Michel, No, it is not sand on the ground. It is an old faded towel! It is the same one I use when I take photos of my Applicator machines. Now that I look at the pictures, it does kind of look like sand. But sand would be too hard to clean off my (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Question about old train set

(...) Yes the 3x3 (low sloped) corner yellow bricks did come in the 7740 (4 to a set). But I contacted the eBay seller of the bid (where there were 18 of these). He (living in Israel) works part time for TLG, and got these slopes in a special (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: Plans vs imagination

I agree with Kevin and Silas. Back in the 60's (when I was a child), I remember getting the Junior Constructor set #717, for Christmas. The only instructions were on the inside of the box top. It was a 500 piece set, and there were only 3 pictures (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.general)

Hi everyone! I just moved back to Knoxville from Chicago. I know I've written to Mike before, and I think I recognize Pawel from the old LCAD list, but I wonder who else is out there? Sounds like Naji might be a new person. (By the way Naji, that's (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.knx)
