  Re: LEGO Quality Control

(...) Yes, that was what they announced sometime in the past couple years. I can't remember when the change took place, but I do know that they had inconsistent shading in the dark-purple bricks that they used to make the Knight Bus in 2004. There (...) I've built it, and I'm impressed. I put together a few pics while I was building it using the Vision Command, sorry for the poor quality. (URL) best thing about this set is the minimal use of stickers. There are large ones one each side just above (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) One of the more untapped ideas I think we could try and play with more is to think of it more as a database, and bring those aspects forward, like what Jon Palmer did with .space discussions on his Galactic Shipyard. Howdy folks, Here I am again. That pesky old-timer who refuses to go away while refusing to actually do anything lego-related! No, that's a lie, I actually built a MOC last year. Never got around to posting about it, ergo, it never existed. So, what (...) I knew it couldn't possibly be ABS (due to the fact that natural ABS has a translucent milky-beige color, and clear ABS is supposed to be EXPENSIVE), but I'd always thought it was acrylic due to how easily the transparent parts used to (...) Hey John, I get what you're saying. Personally, I just don't see the point in buying a toy that you're never going to play with.
