| I decided to learn (a little) html today and I've been trying to clean up the ugly code made from geocites' page builder. I used notpad. | I was snooping through your page yesterday. I couldn't get very far with the HTML, so I just accessed the directory and navigated around manually. The model content is very cool. The navigation seems a bit better today (or perhaps I just found my (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.publish)

| (...) I just did this, and am very happy with the results. First, separate any transparent pieces, paper, etc. from the batch; you won't clean these using this technique. | Hello everybody... I don't know if anyone has tried these, but I have found that Swifters work great on the dust that gathers on my creations. They "grab" the dust off with a pleated cloth. | The moisture absorbing stuff is silica-gel. You usualy get a packet of it when purchasing computer componets or oter electronic equipment. Works great and resuable. Fred (24 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

| I used Brasso and a cotton rag and buffered all my scratches out. however some of the deepier ones were a pain. the improvement for me was still to use the Brasso however I am using a small buffing wheel on my cordless dremel tool. Works great. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.storage)

| Hi Chris, Thanks for the input. This is the kind of information I need. I have always relied on alcohol as a cleaner for contacts and I did not think of the effect it might have on the rubber contact. I thought the button might be a carbon contact. (...)
