Re: Insights from a trip to France...

(...) OMG! How come I never thought about that... I was in France twice, and in Germany quite a few times, but even though I've visited some castles it was (sadly) before my castle renaissance so I didn't think of those things... Well your post sure (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Droids (8000, 8001, 8002)

I just got the three droids in the mail on Thursday (Let's hear it for Shop at Home!) and all I can say is, "Wow!" Lego did a spectacular job on these three sets. The Pit Droid, though simple, is just neat. The Battle Droid can best be described as (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Ahoy! (URL) me, I'm a link!>> The 6285 Black Seas Barracuda ("Schwarzhai" in German, i.e. "Black Shark") has been my all-time favourite pirate ship.   23 Historic Additions to LEGO Sets/Parts CD Version 3.

I'm shamelessly plugging the contents of the LEGO CD (Version 3) that I mention on the Marketplace forum, but this is historic information that will be lost forever over on Bricklink... So if you already own Version 1 and/or Version 2... you may (...) (16 years ago, 28-Feb-09, to lugnet.general)

On Remberance day, I sat right here, watching the ceremonies at the Cenotaph from my 13th floor perch in New Westminster. When the skirl of bagpipes gave way to silence, I thought of my dad.
