  Re: Alt Bricks

(...) A great idea, a fine-looking product, and a terrific price! I'm always pleased to see new clone brands on the market! (...) Getting a "not found" error on that second one. (13 years ago, 11-Mar-12, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: LDD and LDraw - which has the most parts?

(...) Hmm, and I am sure that LDraw has more though (correct me if I am wrong or prove otherwise). I mean, take all old parts that _are_ in LDraw and _not_ in LDD. Take the color availability in to account, and there you go. If I'd model my designs (...) (13 years ago, 19-May-11, to lugnet.cad)

Danish version of german double deck wagons

Hi, Recently, the Danish State Railway (DSB) has rented quite a few german double deck wagons to replace some old passenger cars still in use. I believe I've seen several LEGO versions of these double deck wagons (in the colors used by Deutsche (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc)

(...) Thanks Tom! I'm sorry about the poor photo quality, old digital camera you know... the bow and stern sections are simply joint to the centre section with hinge plates, and supported with bricks underneath.   LDraw All-In-One-Installer 2010-03 beta

Hi, since the old AIOI dates back to 2006 I thought that's high time to compile a new one: (URL) installer does all kind of things, which are listed below in detail. This is a 32-bit-only but it works great on my Win7 64bit. I would appreciate if (...) (13 years ago, 13-May-11, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw) !

Re: CAD Animation of OBB Classic Space Layout...

(...) I wanted to make supports that looked like they may have been in a 'newer' classic space monorail set. The octagonal bricks worked perfectly--they allowed exactly 10 bricks between monorail levels, including the support plate for the actual (...) (13 years ago, 14-Mar-12, to lugnet.org.ca.obb)

  Cool Score -- "Vintage" LEGO!

This is probably ho-hum to those of you who never experienced a Dark Age, but I received a really exciting gift this past weekend -- the remnants of a "too cool for LEGO" young adult's LEGO collection. I just came out of my Dark Age about a year (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Wanted: Design for 2 foot tall Christmas Tree

Newbie to this group and don't know exactly where to post this request (ie, didn't see a "request/wanted" group and my request is not strictly local). Anyway, my goal is to create a 2 foot tall (roughly) Christmas Tree. I tried some things myself, (...) (13 years ago, 13-May-11, to lugnet.people.newbie)

How about this: Of the English-speaking population that might reasonably be anticipated to pluralize a word by adding an S on the end of it, nearly 100% of non-AFOLs use the term (...)
