  Re: Visiting LEGOLAND Billund

hi! Visiting Billund at this time of the year? Don't forget rainproof clothes. The weather can change fast in Jylland, it's a low and windy stretch of land between two oceans, were on some westwind days the weather doesn't have time to stay long but (...)   Re: Track geometry in real life - need resources

(...) The last set I bought (OS 25"/mile maps) cost me ~$120 CDN (50 UKP). For a relatively simple station, the maps were expensive (they are reprints, of respectively, a 1865 and a 1905 map of Long Marton, on the S&C Railway) (...) (URL) dug up a (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: how very odd

Hey everybody, When I first saw that odd part (I don't have that castle but when I browsed for it's instructions on Brickshelf) I did too wondered how come they made this new Castle wall or at least why the window there is hidden.   Promoting our hobby (through greater online presence)

We all know how our trains are scene stealers at shows such as GATS and all. Important as it is in spreading the news of our great hobby, we must also reach out to our model railroad friends online as well. I have taken my mediocre site and joined a (...)   Lego Brick Dimensions Changes?

Has anyone taken the time to measure a standard 2x4 brick or plate in detail? More than just outer height width and length but inner wall thicknesses, cylinder diameters etc. I've been spending time working out the relationships and proportions of (...) (22 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad)

3737 parts pack again a disappointment

Hello trainheads, I just received an order of two 3737 train wagon parts today. And for the third time...both wagon plates were warped beyond use! Does LEGO® take notice of their parts/set quality at all, or am I talking to a brick wall? This is (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Tyco problems and structures that Rock!

This is very interesting. If I understand your baseplate problem, the wall would be actually a bit longer than the spacing the baseplate wants?
