I was worried about that. :(

I think I currently have..... 1 of them. And the weird thing is, I'm not
entirely sure where it came from. I've never bought or owned the Knight's
Castle (#6073) but I may have picked up the piece in a garage sale find at
some point.
This adds fuel to the argument that LEGO really needs to work on some
architecture related bulk packs and/or buckets. There's nothing exotic
about making that little arch, surely it's not any more complicated than any
other arch or likely any other standard brick or slope. So why not just put
it in an 'arch bulk pack' and make it more readily available?

I had actually started with that technique, during my test builds of certain
sections of the facade. You're right, it does work, just doesn't quite give
the arch effect as nicely. The 1 x 3's would have linked 2 x 2 inverse
slopes coming out from the main wall. But for the 1 x 2 inverse slopes,
I'll just move the 2 x 2's 1 stud further apart and leave it be.
Thanks for the info Kevin. You've saved me a lot of time and frustration.
Best regards,
Allan B.
