  Re: Mladen Pejic... Cool down.

(...) Yeah, and Duchamp can hang a urinal on the wall and call it a "ready-made" or whatever too. That doesn't make it art! Funny though it may be...maybe even conceptually profound. And I think the manufacturer of the urinal might have something to (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)

  Polar Base wanted

MSRP is $60, and I've seen them MISB for $45 on BrickBay. But I'd like a better price. I'll happily take used or incomplete sets - I mainly want the wall segments. --Bill. (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: N x 16 plates

Jason, It is possible to connect baseplates into a larger structure, you just can't attach to the bottom of the baseplate, as you said. You can attach to the top of the baseplates... If you build a wall that is at least 2 wide, and is larger than (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) Ah, the age old question... I'm still stuck on using bins, for the reasons that I mostly just don't want to sort down to the "all white 1x4's in this box/bin/drawer", and this method is very easy to move...(I've already moved my collection 3 (...) (...) Great idea -- why not leverage the production costs for the wall pieces by producing a US$5 "Inn Expansion Set": 2 tudor straight walls, 2 Tudor corner walls, and some black slopes and bricks? --DaveL (23 years ago, 10-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.theory)

Nah, that doesn't make sense. What WOULD make sense is ONE corner wall and 2-4 straight walls. Otherwise, you'd only be building skinny towers over time, to use up all the excess corners.
