  Universal Color List...finally

I always hate starting off a conversation with an apology, but I fear I must today. For a number of months, I’ve been working with colleagues to get a final word on our "locked" or "universal" color list. I hate wading back into the color change (...)   Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

It's only a couple of weeks in the new year, and it looks like it's going to be an interesting 2004! I have a request, but before I go any further, let me say that personally, I understand the concerns surrounding the color changes. I know many of (...)   Metroliner parts and instruction sheet

(Please cross-post as is appropriate. Thanks!) All, I just received some information regarding the Metroliner replacement parts and Club Car instruction sheet. I know there has been some confusion this week about how to get these items. We are (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Question for Jake on the future of chrome

(...) As much as I want to, I really can't share info on upcoming products or product plans. To answer someone's earlier question about chrome production, yes, a chrome part is a "different" part than a non-chrome version of that same part. For (...)   Re: Why is it pushed back? Was:Burlington is being shipped (in Europe, that is)

(...) Simple: This isn't an exact science. We estimate our best guess and work hard to get things in place by those dates in order to get you goods as quickly as possible. Overall, our track record is that we typically ship on or often before the (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Semi on Ebay - Jake?

(...) Good question! Since our eBay auctions are VERY small quantities (in this case, 1), we have to ship from wherever the item happens to be located. It wouldn't make sense to send the semi to the US, when it is just as likely to be won by someone (...) (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  2004 Castle Products

What a boost in Castle traffic in the last week! There has been quite a bit of discussion about how system castle is about to be completely and forever replaced by a Castle/Bionicle combo.   Re: AFOLs Comic book distribution @ BrickFest 2004

(...) Yes, certainly. Because of the very shoestring budget of the comic printing, I was hoping to reduce some of the shipping costs by having people pick up comics at BrickFest. But if you can't make it, then we'll certain figure something else (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Request for Feedback - focused thread

Wow, what a crazy couple of days! 250 posts on a thread I started. I'm not sure where to feel shamed or proud. (...) The absolute truth is that there were 10,000 bags of each of color (3 colors x 2 bag styles) produced. I'm am beyond positive about this because I was part of this process.
