| | Re: Parts license
| (...) This is a good point, and I agree with it. I don't know if it has anything to do with copyright or not. (...) As I understand it (and IANAL), 'copyright' applies to the expression of ideas. So you can hold copyright on a file, which prevents (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| (...) Other than the Toy Story truck already posted, here's the closest I could find for "official" models: (URL) sure if they're all really "pickup trucks" per se, but close. DaveE (14 years ago, 28-Dec-10, to lugnet.town)

| | Re: minifig series 3 goes up from $1.99 to $2.99
| (...) I had to reply, since it looks like $3.52 works out to be cheaper. If I account for VAT (25% for Sweden?) you get $2.82. In the case of US prices, without tax it is $2.99. I agree the math does not work for all Lego sets. But that maybe a (...) (14 years ago, 25-Dec-10, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: LPub Error Message?
| (...) Sorry for the delay. Yes, all sub-parts and primitives must have some BFC command prior to the first action in order for BFC processing to be enabled for the sub-part/primitive. (This is typically 0 BFC CERTIFY, incidentally.) --Travis (14 years ago, 16-Dec-10, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

I've gone through and deleted all BFC statements from each part and from each clone sub-part and clone primitive, and I'm still (...) (14 years ago, 21-Dec-10, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

| (...) I'd be interested, but I should warn you that I'm unsure about the ability of an LDraw viewer to sell 145 copies at $.99 each, which is how many would have to sell to recoup the $100. (If I was highly confident of the market, I'd do it all (...) (14 years ago, 20-Dec-10, to lugnet.cad)

Of the three body styles, it makes perfect sense for the dirtbike rider to sit high on the frame, but the road hog rider should be sitting really low to the ground. (...) | | Re: Parts license
| I am sorry to jump in so late. I am the debian packager of LeoCAD. My general thoughts on this follow. I think it would be best to use a common, existing license rather than add to the license soup if at all possible. Of course, one doesn't want to (...) (24 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
