Re: Shop At Home feedback requested.

(...) General comment -- This poll is about S@H exclusives and to me that means the most important point for you to take away is any product of this type has to have great *Details*. Details, Details, Details. I don't care if it's a minifig barber (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

  Design Contest with Prize

A lot of you might know of my work as the brickengraver. I think I came up with a pretty good idea and have welcomed the feedback and orders that I have gotten. But I am really no LEGO designer-or rather builder and so I need a design and thought (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build)

Re: At last, some family-values legislation I can really get behind!

(...) All right; take it easy. There is plenty of hypocrisy to go around for everyone... (...) This has nothing to do with any specious "supporting data" argument. (...) You can't have your cake, eat it, and argue out both sides of your mouth. Take (...) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

(...) In that case, maybe he needs to join the GOP. (...) Not at all. He equates the utter lack of supporting data for Hood's bogus (though seriously-intended) legislation with the utter lack of supporting data for Hagen's own bogus (and (...)   Re: Tony Martin case: You can't {make up} better criticism of Liberals!

(...) That's where I believe you're making an unsubstantiated leap. Even within the bounds of this discussion, you appear unwilling to consider any response other than "kill the intruder/it's his own fault" when other options truly are available to (...)   Re: New "Last Airbender" sets

(...) It's not random at all. TLC didn't have to go out of their way to pick up this property because it falls under the Nickelodeon license. And currently it is, IIRC, the number one primetime show for children 2-11. So while AFoLs may not have (...) (19 years ago, 3-Feb-06, to lugnet.market.theory, FTX)

  Re: The Max

Hi Fradel, It's a good military Mecha MOC but the legs are so chunky it looks to me like a Mech that's 'eaten' too much. Maybe you should have called it 'Max Body Fat'? I like all the 'pods' stuck on the back and the opening hatch so you can get a (...) (19 years ago, 10-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

my thoughts on the 2006 line so far

This is based on what Brickset lists under "2006" Lego really needs to make less moulds and in particular, less new moulds. They keep making new moulds for sets instead of re-using their old ones. Some lines are worse for this than others. Here is (...) (19 years ago, 11-Feb-06, to lugnet.general)
