A lot of you might know of my work as the brickengraver. I think I came up with
a pretty good idea and have welcomed the feedback and orders that I have gotten.
But I am really no LEGO designer-or rather builder and so I need a design and
thought would have a contest.

First of all, I understand that a lot of yall will be put off as I am wanting a
design of for my WoodStiches (R) which are essentially LEGO bricks with veneer
stickers glued to them. If modification of the brick is a no-no in your
philosophy then just ignore

I want to come up with a line of Deskplates, Pencil holders, card holders, etc
that are made from bricks can also use my veneered bricks. As such they need to
be built with parts that are available readily so as not to drive the price out
of the market. I want a design that uses my pretty much standard name plates
which are 24 studs wide by 4,5 or 6 bricks high. I want an imaginative use of
parts for the back with containers for the various items with some hidden
delights in them such as  a pen that perhaps pops up, hinged storeage boxes. You
know, use springs, gears, hinges, etc.

Here is kind of a prototype that I created and it is not all that bad in my
opinion but needs some fun value to it.

I just am looking for the structural design, as it will be my job to select
which woods go where and match grain patterns, etc.

AND THERE IS A LIMITATION. THE VENEER THAT WILL BE USED IS 1/42" THICK SO YOU
CANNOT TWO VENERED FACES BACK TO BACK.

It also has to be such that the studs can be hidden if the end user wants them
to be so that even though made of LEGO, not apparent.

I also want complete rights to use, modify and market it --that is why I am
willing to pay.

Prize is $125 cash via paypal or $250 worth of work.

If this is of interest to anyone out there, I will then set forth some further
ideas and/or criteria.
