  digital output

Hi, I am wondering if there is any means of digital output other than the motor ports such as the miniboard has. The miniboard has the bank of digital i/o ports. The handyboard has the digital input but I am not sure about digital output other than (...) (29 years ago, 29-Mar-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Handy Board "To Do List"

Hi Fred, I noticed the To Do list on the HB page and just wanted to mention a couple of things: 1) The shaft encoders from the IC distribution work without modification. I've been using encoders.icb and encoders.c successfully. I haven't tested (...) (28 years ago, 17-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  A Project In Planning

Hi Ya, I am a team member of a team that is planning to build a robotic platform for a research project. What we want to do is build a platform with a Handy Board and a PC on it.   Memory/Sampling Rate

Hello everyone! I was wondering if there is a simple way to get more RAM on the HandyBoard...like an addition 32K? or maybe 128K? ---...--- Other question is about the sampling rate of the digital ports on the handyboard... I am getting about 335 (...) (28 years ago, 1-Aug-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Should I?

Hi all, I am a young Dutch engineer assigned to build a prototype of a six-legged robot. I am considering to use the handy-board as the controller. There are however a few questions I have. First of all, is it possible to control six motors with the (...) (28 years ago, 15-May-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Yup, it works.

The PWR light isn't really an indicator of power. It's actually hooked up to the 6811's serial transmit line, so it's supposed to flash when the 6811 is talking serial. the BATT light should always blink when the board is first switched on. It also (...) (28 years ago, 4-Jun-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Well after much delay, I've finally got my first HandyBoard up and running.
