Re: problem downloading srec file to RCX

(...) In the process of adding support for quad-speed download to nqc I noticed a bug in the firmware download code that caused problems with short downloads. This may (or may not) account for your problem. Either way, the bug will be fixed next (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Communication with PC using NQC

What I would like to do is to steer the RCX from the PC, by querying its state and send it high-level commands (for example to make (...) Hi All, Last weekend, I finally had some spare time and took the opportunity to program my RCX with NQC. Sure beats the heck out the RCX code! However, I had some problems downloading the firmware before I could download my code. I used the (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Scout v. RCX

Question: Are the Scout and RCX hardware environments similar? If so, can't the new and improved firmware features from the Scout be downloaded to the RCX? After all, you can read the Scout's firmware, right? I assume someone is busily reverse (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Multiple legOS problems

What is going on?   Re: Functional languages and/or RCX wrapper code

(...) If Lego keeps doing what they're doing, I suspect 2.0 will be a much more open architecture than 1.0 or 1.5.
