| Opps, I forgot to reply.... yes I did check the mint copy of the 1961 Samsonite Catalog. The writing does say "V1867". So this is not a date (1967?), but some internal code? | I agree with Kevin and Silas. Back in the 60's (when I was a child), I remember getting the Junior Constructor set #717, for Christmas. The only instructions were on the inside of the box top.
