  Re: It's here!

(...) The word "green" should be in the name, I guess Antique Green would be good. (I think I might have been the one that started the thread on "Verdigris".) If people want Verdigris, then I want dark pink to be "Magenta". And that opens up (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: CA bricks ?

Did someone say Cellulose Acetate???? The red and yellow are easiest to spot. The red has an orange hue to it. The yellow is a "Lemon Chiffon" shade that is lighter in color. Blue is also a bit lighter. But the other colors are hard to tell the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Custom Built LEGO Sets in 2002

(...) It sounds like this method could be useful for bulk orders as well. All you would have to do is stack up the parts/colors you want (via LEGO/CAD) without having to assemble them into a structure. The whole "building" issue could be moot. Gary (...)   Re: Is it OK to use new parts for old sets?

(...) Right, unless it's shrinkwrapped. But the question is, should it have pieces that are from the same era? That is, pieces that COULD have been, but for the luck of the draw, in the box originally? The most purist among us will admit it's (...)   Re: Desirable parts (was Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts)

I agree with Tom, I doubt there is anyone with a larger inventory of rare LEGO parts than I have. Yet I am giddy with anticipation about getting more parts that are considered rare. Case in point: sloped bricks --- I have 140 regular sloped 2x2 blue (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

I am cautiously optomistic about this entire revelation, but I am skeptical about whether or not they will have an extensive part/color inventory for us to use. If so, here is a scenario that I would consider: ---...--- For those of you who have (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

  Re: Wishful Thinking of AFOL

You weren't into LEGO in the 1960's or early 1970's were you? (Were you even alive then!) The parts pack #224 had them (there were packs in white, red, blue, yellow, black and clear). There were 20 in a box in the European version, 33 in the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Online LEGO users design their own sets

(...) Like I stated earlier, the problem for old LEGO set instructions for sets from 1955 to 1972 is that 1) Town was alone in the LEGO System world until Train came out in 1966, and others in the 1970's and 2) classic windows came in 9 window (...) Well I have to agree with Thomas, "A" gets most of my vote, but "z" , the re-collecting the sets of my childhood is very strong in the picture, which means that "b" is having a greater effect all the time. But it is still "A" all the way. As to the (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)
