Re: Questions About Selling Custom Model Instructions: Confirming LEGO/LDraw Consent

(...) Such a rule about the using images generated from Ldraw would be impossible to enforce even if it did exist. That would be like Microsoft claiming ownership of every document made with MS Office or a paint company saying that they own the end (...) (16 years ago, 19-Aug-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: lego turing machine

Hi JDF, Thanks for the feedback. I know it's not a Turing machine in the true sense, but let me tell you what I'm trying to do. At the moment I realize that I have built a sort of binary adder. But what I am currently implementing is a change in (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: "Buying Lego" FAQ to link auctions to

  Re: 6 vs. 8 wide?

I realize that, but what if the simple installation of an automatic point makes clearance of 8-wide trains impossible? Do we then not allow the remote points on 8 wide layouts? What about layouts that are 6 wide, but will connect to 8 wide train (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

I tend to agree with this point of view. The old toggle connectors do still enable solutions that would otherwise be impossible with only 'current' Lego pieces, but they are about the only piece that has been phased out that I tend to 'miss' in the (...)
