Yes the whole top rotates, sitting on a turntable, and the driveshaft goes through the center of it. I will try and part disassemble it or ldraw the workings so people can see the gubbins inside. I couldn't have done it without the inspiration of (...) (22 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.castle)

Someone else had said that you CAN take the stands off, but you'd have to take plates off and then partially disassemble the stands to get the pegs out of the framework, and from seeing the pics, I can see why. 6954 Blacktron I Renegade Piece count is off from what was listed on the box. I found 9 more than what I should have, but I took pains to assemble and disassemble the model. Any comments welcome. Okay, I gave in and bought one of the serial towers listed on bricklink. I now have a ROM image, but am unable to disassemble it. Whatever options I pass to h8300-hitachi-hms-objdump I get: BFD: rom.srec:12: Unexpected character `0' in S-record file (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
