Interesting to note that Fisher Price had its own "Construx" line back then.
Wonder how it did?

I had some construx sets-they were pretty good:  good plastic, good design, good
space figs (the figs were disassemble-able & interchangeable with the other
pieces).  I think they faded out & then came back out a few years ago & are now
gone again.
