Ooohh I remember that store. In my neck of the woods (western Canada) they were
called "Consumers Distributing" (which is essentially what you've written in
French, I guess). Their style of selling was to have no showroom whatsoever -
and you'd just order an item at the counter and they'd go to their warehouse and
pick up the item.
I always enjoyed looking at their catalogue, looking at all the new toys
(especially the LEGO sets)...

Interesting to note that Fisher Price had its own "Construx" line back (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jan-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
