So far, I've only used LDraw's partlist and Lutz's, but I must say Steve's looks very promising. When it comes to Lego databases, there is an infinite amount of data we all wish to enter or seek on. I took a second look at it. when you put on the upper plates (pic 6) it's hard to see the gear, but in pics 3,4,5 it's quite obvious - three gears inside the inner box, one of them connected to the same axle as the pulley (making left-right movement (...) Both the piece with the "hook" and the piece with the "hole" were based on a red 2x4 plate (1/3 brick height). And a question back. Were there any other sets with London/Manchester/Glasgow on the blue 1x8 bricks? (I'm sure I have a few more (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

Gordon, When you wan't to lift such a heavy load the technic axles are too weak. So you have to use other materials than LEGO. I've made a 4.2 metres high Liebherr LG1550 and know how far you can go with it. A hundred kg's seems impressive, but is (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jul-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)
