Re: Do you build every set you buy?

(...) I still build my first copy of any particular set. Most get torn appart immediately, if I have time. Sometimes, they hang out somewhere around the house for however long a time it takes me to disassemble the set for parts. Rich -- Have Fun! (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

Legalities of reverse-engineering (was: Re: Thoughts on NQC for Scout)

[Disclaimer: IANAL!] (...) Hmm, I'm not so sure. Did everyone actually *really* agree not to reverse- engineer it? Look closer at the license agreement[1]...it says that you may not: (ii) modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble (...) (...) Thanks! Good question, though. I don't have a digital camera, so I kind of have to take shots in batches, which is why I don't have anything newer than what Pawel's scanned in. Actually, I need a scanner of my own, too. I'll disassemble the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

It's not really his fault that he is unable to read and write properly, after all he is a product of the ideologically bankrupt public school system. Although it would be better (...)
