  Re: PRICE GAP????

(...) I did a quickie analysis on 6600 about a month ago. I don't remember which gorup I posted to, but try searching LUGNET for it. The $80 price is not hard to justify -- the highway plates and supports are going to be pricey. BUT, I think (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

No. Please use "08904," so that Wal-Mart by my house will stock an absolute TON of Lego and be forced to clearance it after Christmas^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hso that I can valiantly take the brunt of the Wal-Mart marketing behemoth for my fellow (...)   Re: Pnumatic stiff need oil?

(...) Well, when I built my Visible V-8, they recommended the use of vegetable oil; I used canola and didn't have any problems with it. I haven't yet had to lubricate my pneumatics stuff yet, so I don't know about that particular application, but I (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: WTB: A Few 2x2x3 Extreme Steep-Slope CORNERS

(...) Yeah, the exchange rate of standard==corner steep slopes is pretty much 2.5:1, as I'd kind of presumed. (Actually, from that reckoning it's more like 2.3:1, but I'm willing to go a little above that. ;) ) I'll be very happy to get those (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  gear meshings

I have tried to figure out the gear meshings of the standard Lego beams, half beams, gears etc. I came up with the concept of the Legon, the smallest unit of Lego measurement which seems to be about 1/32nd of an inch. I then used a couple of (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: LL Trains (was Re:8 wide and bigger(was Re: 8 Wide)

(...) Ahh, it appears that the different LLs are using different scales-- from 16-20 studs wide. I think I will stick to around 14 wide because I am going to use G scale wheels (and track, for that matter) and that width (13-14 studs) is about (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
