Well, take a look-- (I actually threw together a PAGE, can you believe it?
[not that it's MUCH of a page, but hey])

Despite their slight gigantism, I actually like my design for the chickens
and the goose running around the town.. although they do look rather like
ducks as well... (which is the main reason why I didn't make them white)
Lemme know what you think! (PS thanks to Ben Gatrelle for the window idea!)

Well your villagers will never go hungry with those Chickens!!!.  And what is
with the Piano falling out of the sky.  An odd to Chicken Little I suppose.
And that Cat is hugh (oops thats not LEGO...).

Well the chickens NEEDED to be big to defend off those huge cats! I think
they'd fit in very nicely with Legoland's scale, but not as well with minifig
scale... oh well... at least you can tell what they are :) in "correct" minifig
scale they'd be about a 2x1 or a 1x1 brick? I guess the only way to get one of
those is to wait for the pre-fab piece :( [or we could use the roast chicken
piece from Belville! :) ]

Very nice Dave, you have a great way of adding humor to your page.  I also
like the variety in the buildings it is very cool.  I think the only
suggestion I would have is more clutter.  Especially in the pictures with 5
buildings like this one.

Yeah, after looking at the pictures for the large layout vs. the smaller one, I
really liked the smaller one as a scene a lot more... I would have put the 5
houses a little closer together with more stuff, but that probably wouldn't
have lent itself to photography as easily... (I was thinking of lining a street
with houses, etc...) Anyway, maybe I'll try that in the future...

I really like the setting though it is very "peasantish".  I would really like
to see more people do this kind of stuff.

To date, I don't think I've seen a single other person make a midieval type
HOUSE... (other than Ben Gatrelle's)... the one plausible exception being the
farm posted by Dan Siskind (see his stuff at
http://www.visi.com/~blackened/gallery_castle.html ) Although I'd bet Legoland
Billund has some...

I have done one building myself using Black and White (just didn't have enough
Brown and Tan).  The interior is complete too plus I included a couple of
windows because I was able to dig out some old 1x2x2 white classic windows
from my childhood "very played with" box.  Unfortunatly I don't have all the
cool doors you do so I had to use a yellow classic door.

Yeah, those doors are actually what limited me to building only 5 houses
(although I have another one in blue which I'll probably use)... I got them in
6080 (King's Castle), 6062 (Battering Ram), and 6761 (Bandit's Secret Hideout--
my one treasured brown door hinge [and the blue door came in 6067])... I might
build doors out of regular bricks too if need be...

I am going to try and get pic's up tonight if I have time.  Plus I wanted to
update my Church page with the completed church.  (not a lot of changes but I
finally got the arches I needed to finish it off).

Cool! Can't wait to see the pics! Given that most houses supported multiple
people and the innkeeper would live in his own inn (with a couple others
probably), we might all together have a village capable of nearly realistically
supporting 15-20 peasants! That's more than 14 times the number of "real"
peasants I own! I can't wait to assemble all of it for TCS...
