  Re: GTG in Denver

I don't have any kids of my own (yet), but that's fine with me. Are we all looking to have dinner together? How about something like Red Robin or Ruby Tuesday? Duane (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

I've finally gotten around to testing the CM unit with NQC and Linux. Dave Baum's NQC is at (URL) you'll need Peter Ljungstrand's downloader for NQC to use the CM unit (URL) the compiled files gives me the error messages [fredrigl@biopc45 nqc]$ (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Bigs Lots Disappointing

This one really is a GR posting: Does anyone hit the Alpine Big Lots on a regular basis? I was there last night for the first time. I wasn't terribly impressed. I guess I shouldn't make any judgement based on a single visit--I imagine this place is (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.us.mi.grr)

  Re: Lego Media 1999 Release

(...) Yes, I agree. It's bugging me to read in the catalogue that Scala is for the girls and Town Jr. is for the boys. Ok, so this is probably the approach that sells the most LEGO, since they use that marketing strategy. I remeber very well when I (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: eCos

(...) I presume egcs is needed for eCos (or at least recommended), which is a shame, coz I tried to build it with H8 support yesterday, and it didn't. I've reported the problem. I may see if I can build eCos with gcc in the meantime... Cheers, Ben. (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego Media 1999 Release

(...) Bah! What with ZNAP being 'primarily marketed for boys', and now 'LEGO Friends' - because men don't need to learn inter-personal relationships! I think that TLG shouldn't try to reinforce traditional stereotypes such as these. rant rant rant.. (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

Heather and I are on the southeast end of town, but I work downtown and Heather works near DU. We're pretty flexible on meeting locations, so you guys decide. (...) My IC 3.2's do not include the smooth PWM but the code from the handyboard web site works OK. I say "my IC3.2" because although the disc says 3.2 the handyboard says 3.1.
