  Velux House (1854) Update.

Some time ago I offered to import a number of these into the UK, and then sell them on at cost. Today I have had a response from the seller. This is what I got: (...) $20 is more than I expected, so I may not go ahead with the deal. Scott A (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Insane prices.... nothing new

  Re: Post-Christmas Sales Huh?

What set should I get next?

I'm another one of those people who got a Mindstorms set at Christmas and I'm wondering now what Lego set to get next. I'm looking for a set that has a lot of gears (I never seem to have enough of them) and gives me a bit more experience with using (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Death of the studded brick

Yes, that's what I was thinking when looking at the scans of the new star wars technic droids. There doesn't seem to be a single studded brick in these sets! These sets look nice and have a great functionality but they don't _look_like_ lego at all. (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Insane prices.... nothing new

(follow-ups directed to lugnet.market.theory) I was looking at old RTL auction posts via Dejanews, and at Matt Chiles past auction realizations on his site, and thought to myself that prices have dropped quite significantly in the past couple years.   Re: Accessories from other themes...

Well, let's see: 1. I'm waiting for those new technic sets to show up so I can grab some trans-blue spears for my Alpine King's men. 2. I'm using black dragon wings, Ninja facemasks, and maybe some Ninja glide wings for the Army of the Dark Tower (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: LDraw-Mode vs. BezGen... problems?

(...) Yep, I've used it for the Flex-System hoses and the ribbed hoses from the Technic line.   GP2D12

I just managed to connect a Sharp GP2D12 to my Handyboard. The advantage compared to the GP2D02-device is the analog output which does not consume processing power for clocking the sensor. Further information can be found at: (URL) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
