The subject says it all. Since my Retrostation Auction is almost over, the 4565 Freight and Crane Railway (1 of them) is the next one in line to be auctioned. as formerly mentioned, i recently got set #375 (1960s Samsonite brick set) at a yard sale for $1. not too special -- it's just a "universal" style set -- but it has a lot of clear bricks and old-style windows and doors and wheels and whatnot, which (...)   Re: Why do I beat my head against the wall?

Aaahhhhh, shutup and deal with it. <duck> Seriously, you and I BOTH know if you truly want something on EBay, you WILL have to rearrange your life around the end time.   Mindstorms A/D, 8 bit or 10 ?

OK, I just got a Mindstorms this yesterday and I've been surfing the various web pages about it (Lots of good info!) and I came across something odd.   Re: Different kinds of Figs

AFAIK, "maxifig" is the unofficial name for the "big people" of the 70's (the ones that you mentioned below), which are also called as "bendyarm"s. I haven't hear any approved term for technic figures, but I prefer calling them "technifigs"..:-D (...) (27 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Why do I beat my head against the wall?

(...) All I can suggest is to realize that this is the way eBay works, and if you want to win a set, the best way is to snipe. It's snipe or be sniped when the item is highly sought after. I've found that it's often best to post a low bid early and (...) (27 years ago, 28-Oct-98, to lugnet.market.auction)
