  Re: * * * Trains & Promo Auctions Going Once on Serious Collector * * *

Todd Lehman wrote in message ... (...) 2774 is/was available in Flight on SAS Airlines. I have seen two names for this set. The SAS Flightshop catalog (which I actually have right here with me at home) calls it "LEGO Red Tiger" and lists for $22 (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Rack and Pinion Steering and idea for precise angle of rotation detection

(...) implementation (...) Don't worry, someone did say that. On page 14 of The Art of LEGO Design (ftp://cherupakha.me...lego.pdf), Fred Martin admonishes us not to do that because the plastic will in fact eventually deform. (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Split wanted from an eBay lot, or, does anyone have those wheels?

Regarding this set for auction on eBay (URL) am interested in a split. If you look in this picture: (URL) the listing) you'll see a large wheel in the bottom right corner, partly buried under the track. There is another one in the lot, possibly (...)   Re: "If it were my toy company..."

Go Todd! I agree wholeheartedly with every idea, especially the point about being able to submit your own models for consideration as a company-produced set. Just imagine a line of text on the box: "This Lego set custom designed by: Your name here!" (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WTT: #8880 fo #6987

(...) Are you willing to throw something extra in? I'm just curious as to whether you see these sets as about the same value or not, I'm not haggling with you per se as I only have one MIB. (1) I paid close to 200 for it and that was a while ago. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  WTT: #8880 fo #6987

Greetings all, For Xmas this year I would like to arrange a trade with someone who has a MISB Blacktron #6987 Message-Intercept Base. I have an MISB Technic #8880 Super Car already in a box ready to mail. I am only interesting in trading for the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  NW Fest

Just a quick thank you to Tony for the organisation of yesterdays event, and to say that I was really pleased to meet all of the attendees. I now have to find the time to complete all the models with the bits I swapped Cheers Alan Kershaw (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: [FA] - eBay - Lego CUSTOM: - Unique 4 axle custom Hopper

(...) PS, I have been working on this for months, the timing was driven by "all the parts of the listing and the instructions are complete" more than anything else. The first instance of this hopper was sold well over 6 months ago, back in April. (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Lego de-lurks!

(...) Very true, though prices drop sharply with quantity. One sensor I use, is nearly 50$ in 'one off' quantities, but if you but 10000, this drops to under ten dollars. Makes rather a difference to the potential market. It is sometimes difficult (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: [FA] - eBay - Lego CUSTOM: - Unique 4 axle custom Hopper

(...) I'm interested in a group, let's discuss further. I know you're looking at the selling end but I'm most interested in the production end of things... until you try to produce ten copies of something you don't really know what's entailed. I (...)   Driving an L298 motor driver board

I'm trying to drive 2 larger DC motors that draw about 1A each. I am using a L298 motor driver board that is sold by HVWTech.   Re: Lego de-lurks!

Hi ! Increased sensor/motor I/O is a must and do-able. RF would be great, and I don't understand why Cybermaster is RF and the RCX is IR.   Anyone seen 2K Lego?

I just checked the Sunnyvale TRU, nothing yet :-/ Of course, there are no sales this week, so it doesn't matter - 7124 would be the only one I'd buy reg price right now, after my latest binges. ...Speaking of binges, um, I bought out the SF (...) (25 years ago, 12-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
