Re: Any ideas on how to do this with Technic?

(...) Hmm. Use a pair of pulleys, one attached to the same axle as the gear being turned against the rack. The other pulley should be attached to the same frame as the first, so they move together as the building sinks. This second pulley should (...)   Re: Crappy Parcel Force service

(...) They did that to me too. I put the 'to' address in big letters on the front, with my address, clearly marked 'from', in much smaller letters in the corner below it. It arrived back a couple of days later. Dimwits. Needless to say I don't put (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Colors for a part?

(...) I think we are, yes. The part is used as a "connector" between two models in the sets. In 4216 two of them are used to connect a "trailer" to a camel(!). (...) Good idea, yes. Most of the tow trucks I've seen in Norway are red. But the blue (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

  Aquanauts/Aquasharks visor question

  Re: Offline AFOLs

You are a right. I think very few AFOLs are aware of RTL. Even less know about LUGNet. My auctions on ebay generate a lot of questions which makes a it clear to me that many are not aware of RTL/LUGNet. Additionally, RTL is slowly dying I think... (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Offline AFOLs

Folks, I just had this idea while thinking about UKLUG. What about all the people who haven't found lugnet or rtl yet? Given that most of us are in the IT industry one way or another, and are thus more used to this medium, there must be a lot of (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
