  Re: UK 2000?

I am hoping to see more Technic's for the 2000 release The new Slizers, they have a disk on the front as a wheel? I am not to keen on the slammers 8236,8237,8238. They must use the same system as the 8205 Racers. Look's like we will have to wait (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I too had hoped she'd be in a cheaper set so I could get a bunch of her :( Only thing I'm not happy with... they're still using those awful Iguana helmets :( and putting islander bones in them :( THOUGH... the 6009 visor helmet is back!!! I noticed (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

took another look at the 2000 catalog...

I looked at the NEW Castles last night before bed - and was so happy to see that TLG is getting back on track! I just looked over the whole catalog, and I have some questions and thoughts. No one else has mentioned the Race theme mentioned on page (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Better sets for adults

(...) On that note, is there a better source for Mindstorms-compatible motors and sensors than Lego@Home? Their parts all seem rather pricey. On the other hand, I'm not too electrically-inclined, so I don't think I'm up to building my own. Jim (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  UK 2000?

Any wild guesses as to what will and won't be in the UK catalogue? What about Futbol - as we got the soccer sets they may decide not to release it over here! Richard (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2000 Town construction sets

(...) But where are the buildings? A town full of vehicles, but no buildings? New road plate looks nice, but what about the buildings? The only building is yet another fire station. This looks more like good bye town. Ghost town maybe. I for one am (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Hey...Ninja brought me out of my Dark Ages.
