Update and thanks to all of you (was: Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey)

Things were not so easy and clear on my side, but finally it seems that it will be ended in a good fashion. On Tuesday 28.09.1999, I was informed by the customs that I have three packages waiting on the customs for delivery. Obviously they were the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

 Re: Problem with this code

Bram: The source code for HTML Tidy is available. I think you get the URL if you run it with the "-help" option. You might want to fix the problem with "&" -> "&" too, if you start editing the code. It is really annoying, when it inserts (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.publish)

Re: NQC 2.0 and some math questions

(...) There is a way to do it even if you have no test and set, though I can't remember it off the top of my head, and it is slow. Don't see how using bitflags helps? Michael Lachmann: (...) I think we agreed to use 0 CW and 0 CCW lines in the beginning of the files to indicate (C)CW compliancy, but you should have a look at what Steve actually has written in his parts. (...) It would be very nice if you (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

Well, the box came to me (first person to get it), with many old, beat up, missing lots of parts type torsos (after all, Todd originally said these were parts he was considering throwing away), so some of those in the box are probably the originals. (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: It's Time AFOL Take Action!

The problem is that this isn't automated. Changes to your form take a long time. I'd love a Lugnet login that would let me change the info in a db at any time. Then Todd could set up logins for TLG personnel that would let them search on custom (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: RCX Controlled Air Compressor Tester

(...) Yes, it's a real pain to get those little blue air tanks as spares. And I forsee there will be an increase in their demand since my article was posted. Re: McDonald's Promotional Set

As I've stated here before, I'm happy to get them for people outside of the US for cost plus shipping. In your case, to Canada, it costs about $3 to ship, so if you email me at home for my address, and send me a Canadian Postal Money Order (ONLY (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: What would you think of a crusader torso being available?

(...) The job is completely custom, so it would be a hassle, but depending upon how many colors were printed I think even $4 is high for a single color. Less than $2. (...) Better yet-- decals. One can buy blank sheets from Micro-Scale and print (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: NQC 2.0 and some math questions

On semaphores... There was a lot of discussion a long time ago on whether NQC should use semaphores to protect temp variables between tasks.
