  Re: Space stations?

(...) True. But I was thinking about if I wanted to actually build something. You know, without the computer. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space stations?

(...) Yes, there should be at least a minimum opening standard for each DP type. The sealing surface spec will settle the question of maximum opening. (...) Depends on how absent-minded your crew is. And whether the safety locks are reliable. :) (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: two Technic Control Centers

The current high bids for these items are $25 for one and $20 for the other. Picture available at: (URL) are the programmable motor controlling devices, not complete #8094 sets. Auction ends Sunday. Email bids to graywolf@pcpros.net (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Space stations?

(...) Oops. Erg. This is not easily resolved. Drat. The indented/extended portions could be changed to use bricks and tiles, instead of slopes. Or we could keep the surfaces flat, like the M3 port. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call)

(...) Yup. It is slightly longer than the Atlantis from Launch 'N Load Seaport. I'm glad I got three extra copies of 6560. That is a great set! Jeff P.S. I don't know how big the USS Constellation is, so I'm not including it. (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: NELUG Meeting R.S.V.P. (Was: "So?")

  Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call)

[lugnet.people snipped from ng list] (...) Good point. The lack of detail is doubly-disappointing, because the boats are the biggest point of variation between the sets.[1] In a way, they are the reason to get *all* the Divers sets. Is the ship in (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: New question/challenge...

I have never seen/recognized a 9V piece for that purpose. But you can use the middle wheels from the 12V motor and fit them into the holes on the side of the 9V motor. I suspect that TLG put the holes there to eventually offer spare wheels, but (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: So?

Tuesday is fine for me... But as for the Sunday issue... Sunday the 26th appears to be fine at the moment (but that may change quickly, seeing as it's almost the weekend already)... However, Sunday October 3rd I am otherwise occupied (with other (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Fact vs. Rumor (was: Take a look at this)

(...) :) Right, didn't mean anything personal against you. You've certainly gotten my hopes up! (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: So?

(...) That'd be fine for me (and I think Karen will come too), but my friend Paul has class that night and would prefer another. (Thursday?) If Tuesday works best for the majority of people, since he's not an active participant in deciding things, (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Mindstorm V1.5

Re: What do I want for Christmas?

(...) The 8479 Barcode Truck is a nice model, but don't expect the barcode reader to be too useful. But all in all, I'd say the rest of the set, except the barcode gadget, that is, is very worthwile. Also consider the 8459 Front Loader, which is one (...) (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)

  Kelloggs legos

While eating my daily bowl of Frosted Flakes I noticed that their current promotion includes a possible prize of a Kelloggs character made of Legos, has anyone else seen this? Are there any pictures of these characters anywhere? Just curious. Scott (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.promo)
