The 8479 Barcode Truck is a nice model, but don't expect the barcode
reader to be too useful. But all in all, I'd say the rest of the set,
except the barcode gadget, that is, is very worthwile.
Also consider the 8459 Front Loader, which is one of my fave sets.

| My in-laws sent me the 8448 for my birthday. Now my mother-in-law wants to know what I want for christmas. Any suggestions? I have the 8880 and the shuttle, and I like big, complex, lots of gears, etc. Karen Is the barcode truck any good? (26 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)
